I will be at the Yahoo Hack Day tomorrow. It promises to be a great event. They had to close the invites at 500.
The first talk that I plan on attending is by the Co-founder of Upcoming.org – Andy Baio, “Why Virtual Communities Take it Offline”. Next, I plan to attend the session on Yahoo Maps API. I have been thinking of a mashup with Yahoo maps and the talk might be a great way for me to come up to speed with the API. Though I am not a fan of Flash that Yahoo uses in its maps.
